Amateur Radio is the one major group of people that help society in whatever way that we can. There are many clubs and various activities that make being a "ham" an exciting title to have. I am a member of the Rochester Radio Repeater Association. I also have control operator status for the N2HJD/R Megaplex System in the Greater Rochester, NY area. Check out the RRRA User Codes Online. Another great organization to belong to is the American Radio Relay League.
